**Potential Spoilers in this review, though if you're at Issue 4 reviews, you've probably read it already. **Seeing as Alien #3 didn't release until the end of May, I was very surprised to see issue #4 pop up in the middle of June! It was a pleasant surprise, though I usually go back to re-read the current releases to stay up-to-date on the story before the next issue releases.So this popped up first thing this morning and I read through it over my morning coffee again. This review will stay pretty consistent with the last since not much has changed.The art style is what it is. Sometimes I think the people look a little funky, but it all works. I've thought a few of the Xenomorph bodies/angles look awkward, but I imagine they ARE fairly awkward to position in a way that looks natural.I appreciate the color palettes of this series. When I think of Alien/Aliens in general it draws up the drab grays and blacks of space. The dull colors and despair of the situation. This series does a nice job with pops of color and not making it all look drab. The blue of the Alien containment/slime/secretion, as well as the red flames just add a little flair.The design of the Xenomorphs themselves is nice. A pretty standard build for the drones, I'm excited to get a better picture of what this new alpha looks like. A more human looking variety of queen, though it's probably the one removed from Cruz, so I wonder if it's male or female. I'm sure we'll see in the next/last issue.Overall, a fast read. Still enjoying the series and I can't wait for the next installment.Hopefully they continue to expand the Alien universe. I would personally love to see more of the 'Hive Earth,' as it has a lot of potential for stories. This series started out with a bang but feels a little less interesting now...even with the fully grown Alpha reveal at the end.I need more story with my characters... and then you gotta make ma care....THEN scare the crap out of me.
